Hey there, people...this is a guest review...YOU HEARD RIGHT!!! A GUEST REVIEW! From none other than the Pale and Sweaty one himself, Davey! Now that that's over...on to the review!
So, we go into the movie theatre expecting laughs out the ass (I mean, it's Austin Powers.)
I knew the movie would do either one of 2 things...be really good, or really crappy. It decided to be the latter.
It had it's funny scenes, but overuse of the catch phrases in the first one, and the fat guy brought it down.
I'm not saying you shouldn't go see it, because I'm sure you've seen Star Wars: The Phantom Menace enough times now to have it memorized, but I'm warning you...it's not as good as the first one. The only really good scenes were with Scott Evil in it. They did, in the words of Luke, accomplished what they set out to do...make fun of the James Bond movies.
Heather Graham did a very good job of potraying a female version of Austin pretty much...but I don't see her returning in the next movie...she looks too much like a FemBot. WHAT? That's not a spoiler at all...Well, I don't like giving out stuff from the plot, so I guess this little review is done.
BUT, I think I brought a little more colour to Eric's page without adding any images...hehe.
